The AHA Quest for Quality Prize is presented annually to recognise exceptional health care leadership and innovation in improving quality and advancing health in America's communities. Honourees demonstrate: - Access to exceptional quality, safe, and patient- and family-centred care - Partnership with community organisations and agencies to improve population health status and address disparities - Development of new and innovative models of care, services and collaboration that deliver seamless care - Leadership that improves the efficiency and effectiveness of care **Application window:** 16 June – 18 August 2026 (1:00 p.m. ET). **Presentation:** The 2027 honourees will be recognised at the 2027 AHA Leadership Summit, 18–20 July 2027, in San Diego, California. Applicants choose either the *Hospital* or *Health System* application depending on organisation type. A "system" is defined as two or more hospitals owned, leased, sponsored or contract-managed by a central organisation.
