Saudi Arabia's National Patient Safety Award, spearheaded by the Saudi Patient Safety Center under the Ministry of Health, honors pioneering projects that enhance patient safety and healthcare quality. The 8th edition (2026) received more than 3,000 projects across 10 categories, evaluated by 36 local and international experts, with nine winning projects honored in August 2026. The 9th edition was announced at the same forum and applications are now open; the application deadline has not been published yet.
