Award — Saudi Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry (SSPI)
The Saudi Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry (SSPI) presents the Y-SSPI Clinical Case Competition, an educational initiative designed to support, inspire, and showcase young periodontists and implant dentists from all nationalities worldwide. Themed "Where Future Leaders Rise", this competition focuses exclusively on clinical excellence, sound decision-making, and presentation skills, providing an international platform for young clinicians to present real-world cases and grow as future leaders in periodontology and implant dentistry. The competition is structured in three phases: Phase 1 involves abstract submission (max 500 words) with clinical photographs. Phase 2 requires shortlisted candidates to submit a 5-minute recorded video presentation. Phase 3 is a final live competition where the top 15 finalists present (15 min + 5 min discussion) during an official SSPI scientific event. Scope of clinical cases includes: Periodontology, Implant dentistry, Hard and soft tissue regeneration, Mucogingival surgery, Esthetic periodontology, Perio-prosthetic and implant-prosthetic rehabilitation, Management of complications and interdisciplinary cases, and Digital applications in periodontology and implant dentistry. All finalists receive free registration for SaudiPerio 5 and official SSPI certificates. Winners will be invited to present at #SaudiPerio6 (2028). Travel and accommodation are not covered.
