    About this event

The Cardiovascular Innovations Foundation (CVI) presents the Coronary Interventional Octagon, a competitive case-based learning webinar focusing on Protected PCI and Cardiogenic Shock, scheduled for April 14, 2026 at 9 PM ET.

This CME-accredited session features a unique competitive format where fellows and early-career physicians present challenging cases to a panel of expert judges. The top 4 case submissions are invited to present live, with finalists receiving travel grants to attend CVI 2026 in Denver, CO (August 6-8, 2026). The winning case receives a $500 prize.

Learning objectives include evaluating hemodynamic support for PCI and cardiogenic shock, discussing complex PCI cases, and evaluating the role of image-guided PCI in coronary intervention. This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. The Interventional Octagon is made possible by generous grants from Abbott, Boston Scientific Corporation, Cordis, and Medtronic.
