    About this event

Primary Care Update is a three-day CME conference by MCE Conferences at the Fairmont Banff Springs in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada, on 2–4 July 2027. Known as the "Castle in the Rockies", the historic hotel has welcomed travellers since 1888. It sits among rugged mountains, turquoise lakes and wildlife, and offers mountain golf, hiking and the Willow Stream Spa. A Parks Canada pass is generally required to enter the park.

The conference is aimed at primary care clinicians: family and internal medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other healthcare professionals. Each morning session runs from 7:30 to 11:50 am at the Fairmont Banff Conference Center, with continental breakfast for registered attendees, leaving afternoons free to explore Banff and Jasper. Check-in opens at 7:15 am on the first day.

The organiser says topics, objectives and the full faculty are "coming soon", so the detailed programme is not yet available.

Accreditation: MCE Conferences is accredited by ACCME and designates this live activity for a maximum of 12 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Completion can also earn up to 12 ABIM MOC (Part II) points. MCE Conferences plans to apply for AAFP credit.

Tuition is USD 949 at the early-bird rate (until 2 April 2027). There is a USD 50 discount for past attendees from the previous three years, and another USD 50 when attending with another healthcare professional. Hotel accommodation and travel information are on the organiser's page.
