POSS27 — 4th Precision Oncology Saudi Summit
28–30 January 2027 · King Salman International Convention Center, Al Madinah Al Munawarah, Saudi Arabia · In-Person
The 4th Precision Oncology Saudi Summit (POSS27) is hosted by King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in collaboration with Penn Medicine (University of Pennsylvania) and the Saudi Society for Blood Disorders (SSBD). This edition carries the theme "Precision Oncology Beyond Genomics: Translating Data into Cures", extending the conversation past sequencing panels toward multi-omics, real-world data, and the practical delivery of precision cancer care in the Kingdom.
Over three days the summit convenes regional and international faculty to examine how genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic and clinical data streams are combined into actionable treatment decisions — from molecular tumor boards and biomarker-driven trial matching, to targeted and immune therapies, liquid biopsy, minimal residual disease monitoring, and the emerging role of artificial intelligence in oncology decision support. Sessions are designed to be case-anchored and multidisciplinary, reflecting how precision oncology is actually practised across surgical, medical, radiation and pediatric oncology teams.

Why attend
Held in Al Madinah Al Munawarah at the King Salman International Convention Center, POSS27 offers a rare regional forum where Saudi cancer centres, academic partners from Penn Medicine, and the Saudi Society for Blood Disorders share implementation experience rather than theory: how precision programmes are funded, staffed, validated and audited; how molecular results are returned to the clinic within actionable timelines; and how equitable access to targeted therapy can be scaled nationally under Vision 2030 health-sector transformation.
Registration for the summit is announced as free, with sign-up handled through the organiser's QR/registration channel published on the official summit material. Programme details, faculty line-up and abstract arrangements are expected to be released ahead of the meeting.
