    King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre hosts the Recent Advances in Genomic Oncology Conference at its Postgraduate Centre Auditorium in Riyadh on 9–10 September 2026, running 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM on both days. The two-day meeting gathers local and national experts to examine how cancer genomics is reshaping day-to-day clinical decision-making across oncology, haematology and laboratory medicine.

    • Molecular tumour boards and multidisciplinary decision-making
    • Genomic testing in haematological, paediatric, gastrointestinal and breast malignancies
    • Hereditary cancer syndromes and clinical cancer genetics
    • Cytogenetics, quality in genomic testing, and precision oncology technologies
    • BRCA1/2 findings in the Saudi population, plus single-cell and multi-omics approaches in breast cancer

    The programme also features two hands-on workshops on somatic variant assessment and classification, interactive panel discussions, and a closing session on the future directions of cancer genomics.

    • Read and interpret a genomic report with confidence
    • Build the core genomic knowledge needed to apply genetic test results to patient treatment
    • Become familiar with using genetic databases in routine practice

    Who should attend

    Medical oncologists, haematologists, anatomical and clinical pathologists, laboratory scientists and technologists, medical residents, and all interested medical staff.
