The 64th Training of Trainers (TOT): Teaching and Assessment is a two-day virtual workshop designed for healthcare professionals involved in postgraduate training programs under the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. Delivered by the Deanship of Postgraduate Education at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences in collaboration with Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs, the course focuses on the practical capabilities required to plan, deliver and assess effective clinical education. Participants will explore the concept and importance of curriculum, learn to write effective learning objectives, and compare teaching and training methods so they can choose approaches suited to different learning settings. The workshop also addresses feedback as a core educational skill, including characteristics of effective feedback and common barriers that prevent preceptors from delivering it well. A dedicated assessment component matches teaching methods and assessment tools to CanMEDS roles and helps participants select valid, reliable tools for teaching and training sessions. The final objective is recognizing learners in difficulty and managing them constructively. Sessions run from 09:00 to 16:00 on both days via Zoom. Registration is open to all healthcare workers involved in SCFHS postgraduate training programs. The advertised fee is SAR 500 for MNGHA staff and SAR 1,000 for non-MNGHA participants.
