Euroanaesthesia 2027 — Copenhagen, Denmark
Euroanaesthesia, the annual congress of the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC), returns on 29–31 May 2027 at the Bella Center Copenhagen (Center Boulevard 5, Entrance 4, 2300 København S). It is recognised worldwide as one of the most important and influential annual meetings in anaesthesiology and intensive care.
A truly international platform
With a history of participants from more than 100 countries and over 130 exhibitors, Euroanaesthesia brings together anaesthesiologists, intensivists, pain specialists, perioperative physicians, trainees and allied professionals. The congress is designed to enhance knowledge, review innovative techniques, present the latest ESAIC guidelines, and give delegates the chance to communicate, collaborate and network with a large international audience.
Scientific programme
Curated by the ESAIC Scientific Committee, the scientific programme takes a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach covering:
- Anaesthesiology — general and regional anaesthesia, airway management and patient safety
- Intensive care — sepsis, organ support and critical care outcomes
- Pain management — acute and chronic pain
- Perioperative medicine — risk assessment, optimisation and recovery
- Emergency care and resuscitation
Formats include panel discussions, debates, lectures and abstract presentations, alongside hands-on workshops and an industry exhibition. Full programme details are still to be announced by the organiser.
Call for abstracts
Euroanaesthesia runs an abstract submission process each year, giving researchers and trainees the opportunity to present original work as posters and oral presentations. Deadlines for the 2027 edition will be published on the official website's Abstracts page.
