TIPTEKNO'26, the 2026 Medical Technologies Congress, is held from 15 to 17 October 2026 at The Green Park Hotel Gaziantep, Türkiye. Now in its 17th edition and open to international participation, the congress is organised by the Biomedical and Clinical Engineering Association of Turkey in cooperation with Izmir University of Economics and Gaziantep University, with the technical co-sponsorship of the IEEE EMB Turkey Section and the support of Haliç University's Department of Electrical–Electronics Engineering.
About the congress
TIPTEKNO brings together the users, manufacturers, researchers, managers and public-sector representatives working across medical technologies. Its purpose is twofold: to share the results of scientific research in biomedical and clinical engineering, and to propose shared, practical solutions to the problems facing the medical device and healthcare technology sectors. Over three days the programme mixes original research presentations with panel discussions on the development, manufacturing, use and management of medical technologies, invited talks and training seminars from qualified scientists, and industry sessions hosted by leading medical equipment manufacturers and distributors alongside an exhibition of their stands. Special sessions are organised on the latest topics in the field, and tutorials give attendees hands-on grounding in emerging methods.
Who should attend
Biomedical engineers, clinical engineers, hospital technology and equipment managers, medical physicists, healthcare IT professionals, academics and graduate students, regulators, and medical device manufacturers and distributors. The congress is an unusually direct meeting point between the people who design medical technology and the people who deploy and maintain it inside hospitals.
Call for papers
The full paper submission deadline was extended to 16 August 2026 following strong demand from prospective authors. Special session and panel proposals were due 15 May 2026, notification of review results is on 10 September 2026, and camera-ready papers are due 30 September 2026. Up to two papers may be presented on a single registration, with an additional fee for each further paper.

Confirmed invited talks include Mehmet Halit Çalayır (CTO, Primewize Technology Inc.) on "A Healthcare Technology Development Story: Wizepod CGM Sensor"; Mehmet Akif Özçoban (Gaziantep University) on "Cross-Frequency Coupling in EEG: Concepts, Methods, and Applications"; and Soner Kotan (Turkish Health Institutes Presidency, TÜSEB / Turkish Institute for Health Data Research and Artificial Intelligence Applications, TÜYZE) on "AI in Health: TÜYZE R&D Projects and TÜSEB Support Ecosystem".
Registration
Early registration runs until 30 September 2026. Packages with accommodation at The Green Park Hotel start at EUR 320 per person in a double room for attendees and students, EUR 300 for IEEE members and EUR 280 for IEEE student members, with a single-room upgrade available; registration without accommodation starts at EUR 200 (EUR 180 IEEE member, EUR 160 IEEE student member). Late rates apply from 1 October. An accompanying-person rate is available, 20% VAT is added to all prices, and accommodation packages are bed-and-breakfast with check-in on 15 October and check-out on 17 October.

The Green Park Hotel Gaziantep hosts all sessions, the exhibition and the congress accommodation, keeping the scientific programme, industry showcase and social programme under one roof in one of Türkiye's major medical and industrial hubs. Sponsors for the 2026 edition will be announced by the organisers ahead of the congress.
