EDSIC 2026 — the Egyptian Dental Syndicate International Congress, themed "Meet The Kings" — is held on 2–4 September 2026 at the InterContinental Citystars in Cairo. Organised by the Egyptian Dental Syndicate, the congress is one of the largest dental gatherings in Egypt and North Africa, combining a broad scientific programme with an extensive hands-on workshop track and a substantial commercial exhibition.
The scientific programme covers the full range of clinical dentistry: restorative and aesthetic dentistry, adhesive protocols and digital shade matching, endodontics including rotary and reciprocating systems and microscope-assisted retreatment, implantology from planning through guided surgery to prosthetic loading, periodontics and soft-tissue management, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics including clear aligner therapy, paediatric dentistry, and digital workflows spanning intraoral scanning, CAD/CAM and 3D printing. Practice management and medico-legal sessions are included for clinic owners.
The hands-on workshop track is a defining feature of EDSIC. Workshops run in parallel with the lecture programme and are ticketed separately, with limited seats; they consistently sell out ahead of the congress, and early booking is advised.
The faculty is large and international, with more than a hundred named speakers including Egyptian academic staff at professor and associate professor level from across the country's dental faculties, alongside invited regional and international clinicians.
