20th Annual Conference of the Saudi Orthodontic Society (SOS 2026)

    10 Dec 2026 – 11 Dec 2026 · Fairmont Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia · In-Person

The 20th Annual Conference of the Saudi Orthodontic Society marks a historic milestone for the Kingdom's orthodontic community — twenty years of scientific excellence, innovation and professional collaboration since the Society's founding in 2006. Held at the Fairmont Riyadh on 10–11 December 2026 under the theme "Precision Meets Innovation: Shaping the Future of Advanced Orthodontic Care", the anniversary edition brings together distinguished local and international experts to exchange knowledge, showcase innovation and discuss the advances redefining contemporary orthodontics.

In her welcome message, Society President Dr. Eman Alnamnakani describes the meeting as both a celebration of two decades of achievement and a statement of shared vision for the future — inspiring innovation, strengthening collaboration and advancing the highest standards of orthodontic care for patients across Saudi Arabia.

The scientific programme spans two full days and is built around more than 20 international speakers drawn from Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Gulf. Day 1 opens with registration and badge collection at the Fairmont, followed by morning keynotes on digital orthodontics and AI-driven diagnosis, the official Opening Ceremony and 20th Anniversary Celebration at midday, and afternoon sessions on advanced biomechanics and aligner therapy delivered by international faculty. Day 2 covers interdisciplinary and complex case management with a focus on multidisciplinary treatment planning and surgical collaboration, a dedicated midday block for research and resident oral and poster presentations, afternoon sessions on 3D imaging, CBCT and board-level case finishing, and an evening Closing and Award Ceremony recognising outstanding contributions to the specialty. More than five hands-on workshops run alongside the lectures, covering aligner mechanics, self-ligation, temporary anchorage devices (TADs) and board-level case finishing in small-group masterclass format.

A curated exhibition brings together leading dental technology companies, product innovations and industry solutions across diamond, platinum, gold and silver sponsorship tiers, giving delegates direct access to the equipment and digital workflows discussed in the scientific sessions.

The conference is designed for the full breadth of the orthodontic community: consultant and specialist orthodontists and residents seeking CME-accredited advanced content; general dentists building a stronger foundation in contemporary orthodontic thinking and interdisciplinary planning; residents and students with dedicated rates and a research presentation platform; dental technologists exploring digital lab workflows, 3D printing and scanning systems; and allied specialists in periodontics, prosthodontics and oral surgery working on complex multidisciplinary cases.

Registration fees are quoted in Saudi Riyals and include access to all scientific sessions, the exhibition, opening and closing ceremonies, coffee breaks, lunches on both days and a CME-accredited certificate of attendance. Early-bird rates start at SAR 950 for SOS members and SAR 650 for student members before 16 September 2026, rising in tiers through 1 October and 1 December to on-site rates of SAR 1,450 (member) and SAR 1,700 (non-member). Non-member early-bird registration is SAR 1,100, with student non-member rates from SAR 750. Workshop fees are charged separately.

Abstracts are invited from researchers, residents and clinicians across three tracks — oral presentations for original research and clinical innovation, poster presentations for case reports, reviews and pilot studies, and a dedicated resident research category — with a submission deadline of 1 November 2026.
