The Human Genetics Society of Australasia (HGSA) 49th Annual Scientific Meeting brings together clinical geneticists, genetic counsellors, laboratory scientists and researchers from Australia, New Zealand and the wider Asia-Pacific for four days of scientific exchange in Christchurch. The programme covers clinical genetics, prenatal and reproductive genetics, cancer genetics, cytogenetics, molecular diagnostics, bioinformatics, newborn screening and the rapidly evolving landscape of rare disease diagnostics, genomic medicine, gene therapy and population screening. Workshops, plenary lectures, oral abstracts and poster sessions are complemented by satellite meetings of HGSA divisions.
