The 3rd International Conference on AI in Medicine and Healthcare (AiMH 2027) takes place in Malé, Maldives, from 23 to 25 March 2027. It is an international forum for scientific advances, technological development and real-world applications of artificial intelligence across the healthcare ecosystem.
Scope. The programme places particular emphasis on multimodal and generative AI, medical foundation models, large language and vision-language models, clinical AI agents, intelligent decision-support systems and AI-assisted robotics. These technologies increasingly combine medical images, electronic health records, biosignals, genomic data, laboratory results and patient-generated information to support earlier diagnosis, more precise treatment and more personalised care.
Translation over benchmarks. AiMH 2027 explicitly looks beyond algorithmic performance. Sessions address real-world validation and prospective clinical studies, interoperability with hospital information systems, human–AI collaboration, usability and workflow integration, post-deployment monitoring, and the measurement of benefit for patients, clinicians and health systems.
Trustworthy and responsible AI. A dedicated strand covers model bias and health inequality, hallucination and unreliable output, explainability and uncertainty estimation, patient privacy, cybersecurity, data ownership and governance, accountability and regulatory compliance — alongside privacy-preserving and federated learning, synthetic health data, robust and generalisable models, continuous performance monitoring and effective human oversight.
Wider applications. The call also welcomes work on AI-enabled telemedicine, wearable and implantable devices, remote patient monitoring, digital therapeutics, population health, hospital operations, medical education, drug discovery and clinical trials, with particular interest in scalable, resource-efficient solutions that improve access to care in remote, underserved and low-resource regions.
