Care Show Birmingham 2026 runs on 7–8 October 2026 at the NEC Birmingham, and remains the UK's largest event dedicated to the social care sector.
The show serves the whole spectrum of care provision: residential and nursing home owners and managers, domiciliary and home care providers, supported living and learning disability services, care group executives, registered managers, care quality leads, activity coordinators, catering and housekeeping leads, and the clinical staff who work across these settings. It is equally used by local authority commissioners and by the technology and service suppliers that support the sector.
The conference programme is free to attend and runs across multiple theatres over the two days. Content is built around what providers are actually contending with: CQC's assessment framework and preparing for inspection, workforce recruitment and retention including international recruitment and sponsorship compliance, business and financial sustainability in a period of rising costs, dementia care practice, nutrition and hydration, medication management, digital social care records and the transition away from paper, falls prevention, end-of-life care, and the interface between social care and the NHS. Sessions are typically delivered by operators, regulators and sector bodies rather than by suppliers, which keeps the content credible.
The exhibition presents care management software and digital records systems, nurse call and acoustic monitoring, moving and handling equipment, care furniture and interiors, catering, incontinence and infection control products, insurance and legal services, recruitment platforms, and training providers.
Care Show Birmingham also functions as the sector's main annual networking occasion, with dedicated networking areas and awards recognising outstanding care practice.
Registration is free for care professionals through the official Care Show website, which also publishes the agenda, speaker line-up and exhibitor directory.
