The Adan Internal Medicine 2nd Annual Conference 2026 takes place on 23–24 October 2026 in the Al Fotouh Ballroom of The Regency Hotel in Al-Bidea, Kuwait. Organised by Adan Hospital under Kuwait's Ministry of Health, this second edition carries the theme "Bridging Innovation & Care in Internal Medicine: The Era of Precision Medicine" and brings together leading physicians, researchers and healthcare professionals from across the region.
This year the conference is organised in collaboration with the Kuwaiti Association for Medical Artificial Intelligence and Informatics, reflecting the growing integration of AI and digital innovation into modern healthcare and internal medicine practice. The programme is designed for internists and internal medicine subspecialists, family physicians, primary care physicians and allied healthcare professionals.
The two-day scientific programme opens with pre-conference workshops followed by registration and opening remarks. Day one (Friday 23 October) covers Hematology; Neurology & Geriatrics; and Gastroenterology. Day two (Saturday 24 October) continues with ICU & Cardiology; Nephrology; Rheumatology & Endocrinology; and Pulmonology. Each session brings practical, evidence-based updates across the breadth of internal medicine, with a focus on how precision medicine, data and AI are reshaping diagnosis and management. The conference is chaired by Dr. Khalil Alshowaiker with Dr. Nawaf Alenezi as co-chair, supported by a scientific committee including Dr. Mishal Abu Al-Melh, Dr. Muna Al Rasheed, Dr. Bader Alayyad, Dr. Emad A. Abdullah, Dr. Mashaan Alenezi and Dr. Yousef Alansari. The faculty lists more than 40 speakers and chairpersons, predominantly leading consultants from Kuwait's hospitals.
