TOT on the Go — Training of Trainers Workshop (SSHHS, August 2026)

TOT on the Go — Training of Trainers Workshop is a two-day live online faculty development programme delivered by the Saudi Scientific Home Health Care Society (SSHHS) and leading to an SCFHS Accredited Certificate. It runs on 14–15 August 2026 via Zoom — Day 1 from 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM and Day 2 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (KSA time).
The workshop is built around the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties' expectations of postgraduate trainers, and is structured into four practical modules delivered by consultants in family medicine and home health care.
Programme — four modules
Module 1 — Teaching on the Go
Practical clinical teaching in busy service settings: micro-teaching moments, framing learning objectives, and matching teaching methods to the clinical encounter.

Module 2 — Assessment on the Go
Principles of workplace-based assessment, choosing and applying the right assessment tools, and improving the reliability of day-to-day judgements about trainees.

Module 3 — Mentoring on the Go (Feedback & the Trainee in Difficulty)
Characteristics of effective feedback and the barriers to giving it, plus recognising the early signs of a trainee in difficulty and managing the situation constructively.

Module 4 — Clinical Competencies (CanMEDS)
The CanMEDS roles and competency framework, and how to translate them into observable expectations and training plans within SCFHS programmes.

Who should attend
Faculty members, programme directors, consultants, clinical trainers, department heads, academic supervisors, and healthcare practitioners involved in the education and training of residents and fellows in SCFHS programmes.
Fees and registration
SR 800 including VAT. Registration and payment are handled via the SCFHS platform, with seats confirmed through the official registration form linked on this page. Places are limited, and the organisers advise securing a seat early.
