About this event

TOT On-the-Go Workshop by Medical Education Without Borders (MEWB), live on Zoom on Friday 17 July (1:00 pm) and Saturday 18 July (9:00 am) 2026. Upon completion of the workshop and post-workshop exam, participants will be Certified Trainers at SCFHS. Target audience: all Program Directors and Trainers involved in SCFHS Postgraduate Training Programs. Learning objectives: 1) Discuss the concept of curriculum and its importance; 2) Formulate well-written effective learning objectives; 3) Identify different effective clinical teaching methods; 4) Demonstrate understanding of the characteristics of effective feedback and its barriers; 5) Outline the principles of assessment and apply appropriate assessment tools in the teaching/training session; 6) Discuss CanMEDS roles and competencies; 7) Recognize the signs of trainees in difficulty and manage them.
