The fifth ERA Education Meeting takes place on 23–24 March 2027 at the InterContinental Citystars Cairo in Cairo, Egypt. It is organised by the European Renal Association (ERA) in collaboration with the Egyptian Society of Nephrology and Transplantation (ESNT).
ERA Education Meetings bring high-level nephrology education from Europe's leading renal society to regional audiences. They combine updates on kidney disease, dialysis and transplantation with interaction between international and local faculty. The official language is English.
Highlights
- KDIGO session: ERA has announced that KDIGO will organise a session on 23 March as part of the meeting.
- Linked to the ESNT Congress: the meeting runs immediately before the 45th Congress of the Egyptian Society of Nephrology and Transplantation. That congress needs separate registration, with more details on the 45th ESNT Congress website.
- Travel grants: grants are available for 25 young nephrologists who are members of ERA's Young Nephrologists' Platform (YNP).
- Medical students: ERA offers medical students a special reduced fee to promote nephrology.
