The BAUN Annual Conference 2026 — the flagship meeting of the British Association of Urological Nurses — takes place in Manchester from 18 to 20 October 2026: a day of pre-conference workshops followed by two full days of education and networking.
Programme focus
The programme is built around advancing clinical practice, showcasing innovation and supporting professional growth in urological nursing. Delegates get expert speakers, interactive workshops, research presentations, posters and structured networking across the specialty.
Pre-conference workshops — Sunday 18 October 2026
BAUN's pre-conference workshops are hands-on rather than lecture-based, producing evidence for CPD portfolios and NMC revalidation:
- Flexible Cystoscopy Workshop
- LATP (Local Anaesthetic Transperineal) Biopsy Workshop
- Essential Skills Workshop
Workshops are booked separately from the main conference.
Registration
Open to members and non-members, for the full conference or single-day attendance. Booking by the early bird deadline of 25 July secures a discounted rate; BAUN members receive the additional member rate.
Awards Dinner
BAUN celebrates excellence across the profession at the Annual Awards Dinner held during the conference — tickets are booked alongside registration.
Who should attend
Urology nurse specialists, advanced nurse practitioners, continence and stoma nurses, uro-oncology CNSs, theatre and outpatient nursing teams, and any nurse extending scope of practice into cystoscopy or prostate biopsy.
