The Saudi Basic Life Support in Obstetrics (SBLSO) Course is a highly practical, simulation-based program aimed at reducing maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality. It focuses on the emergent management of common obstetric complications including postpartum hemorrhage, shoulder dystocia, breech presentation, and Maternal Cardiac Arrest (MCA) to standardize emergency skills across obstetric teams.

Blended Learning

Phase 1: Online self-directed learning
Phase 2: In-person skills sessions with a certified SBLSO Instructor

Target Audience All professional healthcare providers involved in obstetric care and emergency management — Physicians, Nurses, Midwives, Respiratory Therapists, and EMS Personnel.
