A 3-day ISMRM workshop in Saint-Sulpice (Lausanne), Switzerland, focused on shifting psychiatry and neurodegeneration research from symptom-based to biomarker-based diagnosis using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and spectroscopy (MRS).
Workshop Overview
The workshop explores how MR neuroimaging — structural, functional, and molecular — can identify imaging biomarkers for mental illnesses and neurodegenerative diseases. Sessions cover quantitative MRI, microstructure MRI, ¹H MRS/MRSI, X-nuclei MRS, PET-MRI, QSM, brain network analysis, computational neuroimaging, neuromodulation, MR-guided therapy, and translational animal models.
Target Audience
MR scientists, clinicians, and technologists interested in the latest advances in MR neuroimaging techniques and biomarker-based diagnostics for psychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases.
