The 2027 ISMRM & ISMRT Annual Meeting & Exhibition takes place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada from 8 to 13 May 2027. Organised by the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) together with the International Society for MR Radiographers & Technologists (ISMRT), it is the global event dedicated exclusively to magnetic resonance in medicine.
The meeting brings together thousands of researchers, clinicians, physicians, engineers, physicists, radiographers, technologists, students and trainees from around the world, and serves as the flagship gathering of the global MR community. Guided by the 2027 theme, "Development in Every Dimension", the Vancouver meeting will showcase the latest advances in magnetic resonance through scientific presentations, educational sessions, technical exhibits and networking opportunities.
Typical content spans MR physics and pulse-sequence development, image reconstruction and AI, neuro, body, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal MRI, spectroscopy, hardware and safety, plus a dedicated ISMRT programme for radiographers and technologists. The exhibition hall features the leading MR vendors and technology companies.
Call for Abstracts: ISMRM and ISMRT abstract submission is open from 1 to 28 October 2026, with the deadline on 28 October 2026 at 23:59 UTC (the same deadline applies to trainee stipend applications and 2027 membership dues). Calls for member-initiated sessions and abstract reviewers are also open, and a guide to submitting through the ECHO platform is available on the meeting website.
