The 2nd Annual Research Conference, themed “From Research to Impact,” is organized by King Saud Medical City under Riyadh First Health Cluster, in collaboration with the Saudi Heart Association, on Sunday–Monday 15–16 November 2026 at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Center, Riyadh. The conference carries 19 accredited CME hours and registration is free.
The conference promotes a culture of research, innovation and evidence-based practice across the cluster: showcasing research, clinical trials, quality improvement and healthcare innovation; advancing clinical research capability in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030; and strengthening collaboration among healthcare professionals, researchers and industry partners. Eight scientific tracks serve every career stage: clinical research residency and fellowship tracks, an expert track, clinical trials (GCP, SFDA regulatory frameworks, pharmacovigilance), patient safety and medication use, nursing and allied health, public health and epidemiology, and urgent care.
Day 1 (15 November) features pre-conference workshops: Health Economics & HTA with Dr. Hana Alabdulkareem (on site), AI in Healthcare Research: Balancing Innovation, Ethics and Patient Rights with Prof. Mohammed Hassanien (online), and a Regulatory Clinical Trials Workshop with Dr. Omaima Arab (on site).
