Vascular Anastomosis Workshop

Part of the VESSEL Course, this hands-on workshop takes place at the Faculty of Medicine Building, 4th Floor, King Fahad Medical City, Riyadh, on 20 October 2026 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It is designed for surgical residents, interns and medical students. Registration costs SAR 800 including VAT.

Participants will study the fundamental principles of vascular anastomosis, including appropriate bite spacing, tension control and flow dynamics. Practical objectives include performing end-to-end and end-to-side vascular anastomoses on simulation models, recognising common errors such as leaks and improper tension, and improving dexterity, precision and efficiency with surgical instruments and techniques.
