The 54th International Congress of the Egyptian Society of Cardiology (CardioEgypt 2027) takes place in Cairo, Egypt, from 2 to 4 February 2027. Listed on the European Society of Cardiology's global and community events calendar, it is one of the longest-running and most influential cardiology congresses in the Middle East and Africa.
Organised by the Egyptian Society of Cardiology (EgSC), the annual congress gathers thousands of cardiologists, internists, cardiac surgeons and allied health professionals from Egypt, the Arab world and beyond. The programme traditionally spans the full spectrum of cardiovascular medicine: interventional cardiology, heart failure, echocardiography and imaging, arrhythmias, preventive cardiology, valvular and congenital heart disease, and acute cardiac care.
EgSC's working groups — including echocardiography, valvular and congenital heart disease, and heart failure — contribute dedicated tracks, and the congress serves as the society's flagship platform for presenting regional research, registry data and clinical practice updates. Previous editions (such as the 52nd congress, CardioEgypt 2025) have featured joint sessions with international societies and hands-on workshops.
