The American College of Cardiology joins forces with the World Heart Federation for ACC.27 Together With WCC, the ACC's 76th Annual Scientific Session & Expo, taking place April 10–12, 2027 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. Pre-conference sessions run on Friday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT; the meeting officially opens on Saturday, April 10 at 8:30 a.m. CT with the Opening Showcase and closes on Monday, April 12 at 5:30 p.m. CT with the Closing Ceremony, Convocation and Reception.
This joint edition brings together thousands of cardiovascular professionals from across the globe for an exchange of science, innovation and clinical expertise. Attendees experience the latest breakthroughs shaping the future of cardiovascular medicine and explore the newest guidelines transforming patient care worldwide — under the meeting theme "the transformation of cardiovascular care for all begins here."
Scientific programme
The ACC.27-WCC programme features hundreds of educational sessions, thousands of abstract and case presentations, and late-breaking clinical research organised across 11 learning pathways. Delegates can focus on a single clinical area or move across the full breadth of cardiovascular medicine, with sessions built to deliver practical, practice-changing knowledge. Beyond the core programme, the meeting offers the Lounge & Learn Pavilion for formal and informal learning on multiple stages, evening Clinical Spotlight Sessions, Prime Time Events, independent certified sessions and a full calendar of ACC meetings and networking activities. Learning Destinations provide interactive, non-certified spaces for hands-on exploration of emerging topics.
Call for abstracts and cases
Submissions are open for Abstracts, Complex Clinical Cases, CV Team Abstracts and CV Team Cases, with a deadline of Tuesday, October 6 at 1 p.m. ET. Abstracts are accepted across 60 topic areas and considered for oral, moderated poster and traditional/flatboard poster presentation. Featured Fields for this edition include Cardio-Obstetrics, Cardio-Oncology, Cardiovascular Care Delivery and Practice Operations, Critical Care Cardiology, Geriatric Cardiology, Global Cardiovascular Health, Innovation, Digital Health and Technology, Sports and Exercise, and Training and Lifelong Learning. Accepted abstracts are published in an online issue of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC), and with more than 250 reporters from 23 countries expected on site, accepted work reaches a global audience. Young Investigator Awards are also open to early-career researchers.

The ACC.27-WCC Expo is one of the largest cardiovascular marketplaces in the world, with 250+ companies and organisations showcasing imaging systems, devices, pharmaceuticals, health IT, services and other innovations relevant to daily cardiovascular practice.
Registration key dates
Exclusive Member Registration opens Wednesday, October 14 and runs to October 27, 2026; general Early Bird Registration opens Wednesday, October 28 and closes December 2, 2026; Advance Registration runs December 3, 2026 to February 24, 2027 (also the cancellation deadline, after which fees are non-refundable); Standard/Onsite Registration runs February 25 to April 12, 2027. ACC members must be current on 2026 dues when registering before January 1, 2027. Registration and housing should only be booked through the official ACC providers — several unaffiliated companies market ACC.27-WCC housing.
