The Annual Saudi Heart Rhythm Conference (SHRS 2026) returns to Riyadh on 20–21 November 2026 at the InterContinental Riyadh, dedicated this year to the contemporary management of ventricular tachycardia. Organised by the Saudi Heart Rhythm Society and its Working Group, the two-day meeting bridges the fundamentals, advanced therapies, challenging cases, and emerging technologies that are reshaping ventricular arrhythmia care across the region.
The scientific program is structured around the full clinical arc of ventricular arrhythmias: risk stratification and substrate assessment in ischemic and non-ischemic cardiomyopathies; advances in cardiac imaging and electroanatomic mapping that localise substrate and guide precise ablation; device therapy and ICD programming, including a structured approach to VT storm; and frontier topics such as advanced ablation strategies and artificial-intelligence applications in electrophysiology. Delegates can expect live-in-a-box case presentations, hands-on workshops, and scientific sessions delivering the latest evidence and regional practice insights.
The conference is designed for the entire arrhythmia care team — cardiac electrophysiologists, adult and pediatric cardiologists, heart failure specialists, cardiology and EP fellows, internists, emergency physicians, cardiac surgeons, intensivists, cardiac anesthesiologists, EP technologists, cath lab staff, and nurses. Learning objectives cover contemporary VT diagnosis and management, guideline-based strategies, imaging and mapping advances, VT storm and ICD programming, complex case review, and emerging technologies.
SHRS 2026 is proudly aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and is CME accredited and recognised by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). The meeting is led by Dr. Yahya AlHebaishi, President of the Saudi Heart Rhythm Society and General Director of the National Heart Center, with Dr. Fahad Almehmadi chairing the Scientific Committee.
