APPCS 2027, the 11th Congress of the Asia-Pacific Pediatric Cardiac Society, takes place on 24–27 March 2027 at the Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai, Bangkok, Thailand. The theme is "Building a Stronger Heart Network: Collaboration, Care and Cures." The Pediatric Cardiology Association of Thailand hosts the congress, with Prof. Alisa Limsuwan as Congress President and Dr. Surin Woragidpoonpol as Co-President.
The congress brings together world experts, emerging leaders and multidisciplinary teams in pediatric and congenital cardiology and cardiac surgery to share the latest advances in caring for children with heart disease.
Scientific programme (25–27 March)
Six parallel tracks run in six rooms, starting each day with "Good Morning Thailand" poster walks. Topics include:
- Track 1: live cases, "Tiny Baby, Big Decision", and imaging in transcatheter correction
- Track 2: Fontan surgery, including borderline Fontan and early Fontan failure
- Track 3: pulmonary hypertension, perioperative care in neonatal congenital heart surgery, and fast-track pediatric cardiac surgery
- Track 4: cardiovascular health across the lifespan, intervention in older patients, and PH in 2027
- Track 5: symptom-based approaches, ECGs and arrhythmia
- Track 6: echocardiography, including segmental analysis, ASD and pulmonary venous connection, and VSD/AVSD
