    About this event

A complimentary monthly CardioCore Foundational Lecture from the American Society for Preventive Cardiology (ASPC), focused on the 2026 ACC/AHA Multi-society Dyslipidemia Guideline.

By participating, you will better understand how to translate the new guideline into practical, patient-centered care, specifically how to: • Assess cardiovascular risk using contemporary tools • Initiate and intensify lipid-lowering therapy based on individualized risk • Apply updated treatment targets including LDL-C, non–HDL-C, and ApoB

You will also gain clarity on when to incorporate additional risk markers such as Lp(a) and coronary artery calcium, how to approach triglyceride management in the context of both ASCVD and pancreatitis risk, and how to apply evidence-based strategies across diverse populations including those with diabetes and chronic kidney disease.
