The 12th Eurasian Congress on Emergency Medicine, held jointly with the 22nd Turkish Emergency Medicine Congress, takes place from 19 to 22 November 2026 at the Kaya Palazzo Congress Center in Antalya.
The congress exists to share the latest developments and innovations in emergency medicine, enrich shared clinical experience and build collaborations across the Eurasian region. Its dual national-and-international structure gives it an unusually mixed audience: Turkish emergency physicians and residents form the base, joined by faculty and delegates from across Europe, Central Asia, the Caucasus and the Middle East.
The programme is deliberately varied in format. Alongside conventional presentations, the organisers run panel discussions on the clinical, technological and organisational challenges facing emergency medicine, interactive sessions, practical applications, courses and hands-on workshops. Nationally and internationally recognised speakers lead sessions across resuscitation and cardiac arrest, major trauma and damage-control principles, airway management, point-of-care ultrasound, toxicology and envenomation, paediatric emergencies, acute stroke and cardiac emergencies, disaster and mass-casualty medicine, and emergency department flow and crowding.
Special sessions are planned for young researchers, and oral and poster abstract presentations form a substantial part of the scientific programme — a reflection of the association's sustained investment in building research capacity within the specialty in Türkiye.
Abstract submission, registration and accommodation are handled through the congress website, which is available in Turkish and English and also publishes the boards, the confirmed speaker list, general information, the programme and sponsor details.
For emergency clinicians in the region, EACEM offers a large, well-established meeting with a strong practical-skills component and an international faculty, at an accessible Mediterranean venue in the quieter late-autumn season.
