The American Thyroid Association is the leading organization focused on thyroid biology and the prevention and treatment of thyroid disorders. Its 2026 Annual Meeting brings over 1,200 thyroid clinicians, investigators and healthcare professionals from around the world to Philadelphia to hear the latest clinical and basic science research on thyroid disease.
Program
The ATA Program Committee, led by Sara Ahmadi, MD and Michael W. Yeh, MD, has developed a program consistent with the excellence for which the ATA is known, with a customized educational track for trainees. Pre-meeting courses on Wednesday, November 4 include:
- Endocrine Neck Advanced Ultrasound Course (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM) — for practitioners experienced in neck ultrasound, emphasizing subtle and complex imaging findings (additional registration required)
- Introduction to Interventional Endocrinology (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) — covering ablative therapy for thyroid disease and nodules: indications, techniques, and avoidance and management of complications
The main program offers CME credits, innovative clinical talks, interactive sessions and professional development with state-of-the-art information, plus an exhibit hall, Expo Theater presentations, satellite symposia and ancillary events.
Audience
Endocrinologists, internists, surgeons, basic scientists, nuclear medicine scientists, pathologists, trainees, nurses, physician assistants and other healthcare professionals who wish to broaden and update their knowledge of the thyroid gland and its disorders.
Registration
Registration is open with tiered rates: Early Bird through August 26, 2026; Discounted August 27 – September 30; Full from October 1, 2026. ATA membership is not required to register, though member rates apply for members.
