Australian Gastroenterology Week (AGW) is the largest gathering of gastroenterologists, hepatologists, endoscopists, GI surgeons, nurses and scientists in Australasia, organised by the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA). The Perth 2026 programme covers luminal GI, IBD, functional GI disorders, coeliac disease, upper and lower GI cancer, therapeutic endoscopy (EUS, ERCP, ESD, third-space), pancreatobiliary disease, MASLD/MASH, viral hepatitis, transplantation, motility, nutrition and paediatric GI. Live endoscopy, hands-on workshops, plenary lectures and abstract sessions run across multiple parallel streams.
