The 8th Kuwait Neurology Conference, held jointly with the 11th MENA Stroke Organization Congress, takes place on 8–9 October 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Kuwait, under the patronage of H.E. the Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Abdulwahab Al-Awadhi. Led by Conference President Prof. Jasem Al-Hashel (Consultant, Neurology Department, Ibn Sina Hospital, MOH Kuwait), the meeting brings together leading neurologists, stroke specialists, researchers and industry partners from across the region and beyond.

The two-day scientific program is heavily focused on stroke and cerebrovascular disease. Day 2 (Friday 9 October) covers reperfusion therapy (mechanical thrombectomy in special populations, IV thrombolysis beyond 4.5 hours, updates in stroke prevention, establishing thrombectomy services in Kuwait) and digital transformation & AI (telestroke, AI in acute stroke, stroke research in the Middle East, AI and telerehabilitation).

Four hands-on workshops run alongside the main program: Stroke Rehabilitation and Outcome (with virtual international speakers), Imaging in Stroke, Mechanical Thrombectomy, and the Stroke Pathway workshop covering the full patient journey from pre-hospital EMS through the stroke unit to post-acute complication prevention.
