6th SSCP Annual International Conference 2026
The Saudi Society of Clinical Pharmacy (SSCP) returns for its 6th Annual International Conference at the Crowne Plaza Riyadh RDC Hotel & Convention Centre, running 2–5 September 2026. Over four days the meeting brings together clinical pharmacists, pharmacy residents and students, academic faculty, physicians, nurses, regulators and industry leaders from across Saudi Arabia, the GCC and beyond.
SSCP's stated vision is to pioneer global pharmacy excellence, uniting pharmacists worldwide for unprecedented growth and innovation, and the 2026 edition is built around that mission: tailored learning, applied innovation and cross-border collaboration.

Scientific program
The program runs across two halls — Sultana Hall and Siwar Hall — opening on the evening of 2 September with keynote addresses from Prof. Ahmed Aljedai (President, SSCP), H.E. Prof. Hisham Aljadhey (Executive President, Saudi Food & Drug Authority) and Dr. Mohammed AlAbdulaali (Assistant Minister of Health for Health Services).
Highlights across the following three days include AI-augmented clinical decision support and digital pharmacy, a panel on the security risks of AI applications in healthcare, Pharmacy at the Heart of Saudi Vision 2030, real-world evidence and pharmacovigilance, a live debate on clinical trials versus real-world evidence, pharmacist well-being and KPI development, GCC clinical pharmacy empowerment, investment and localization with venture-capital leaders, medicines optimization and deprescribing, medication shortages and supply-chain leadership, pediatric hematology and gene therapy, precision oncology (NSCLC, CLL, HER2+ breast cancer), internal medicine biologics, toxicological emergencies, sepsis and CRAB in the ICU, new antimicrobials, medication safety metrics, pharmacogenomics and biosimilars.
Pre-conference workshops (3–5 September)
Eight hands-on workshops are offered, including safe medication use in neonates and pediatrics with AI-driven precision dosing, cancer survivorship and chronic toxicities, change management for healthcare professionals, building an OPAT service, precision nutrition and fluid therapy, designing medication use evaluations, formulary decision-making with economic data, and building pharmacist-led ambulatory care clinics.
