Overview
The Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) Course is a one-day, in-person course from the Riyadh Second Health Cluster. It takes place on Tuesday 29 September 2026, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, in the Auditorium of Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Hospital (PMAH), Riyadh, and is accredited for 4 CME hours. Therapeutic drug monitoring is essential for medicines with a narrow therapeutic window, where the gap between an effective and a toxic dose is small. Aminoglycosides, vancomycin, antiepileptics, digoxin, lithium and immunosuppressants are common examples. The course gives prescribers, nurses and pharmacists a practical framework to dose these drugs safely, interpret serum levels, and adjust therapy for individual patients.
