ECO 2027 is the 34th European Congress on Obesity, the annual flagship scientific meeting of the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO) — Europe's leading multidisciplinary platform on the science, prevention and treatment of obesity. It will take place 18–21 May 2027 in Munich, Germany.
About the congress
ECO brings together more than 2,500 delegates each year — clinicians, researchers, public-health experts, allied health professionals, dietitians, psychologists and policy makers — for four days of plenary lectures, symposia, oral and poster communications, debates, EASO Award lectures, industry-supported symposia and dedicated early-career sessions. Tracks typically span basic & translational science, clinical management of adult and childhood obesity, bariatric & metabolic surgery, GLP-1 / incretin pharmacotherapy, nutrition & behaviour, public health & policy, and obesity in special populations.
