The 63rd EASD Annual Meeting will be held 20–24 September 2027 at the HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre in Budapest, Hungary. The EASD Annual Meeting is the largest diabetes congress in Europe and one of the two most influential diabetes meetings worldwide, regularly drawing more than 10,000 delegates from over 100 countries.
Each edition presents the year's major late-breaking clinical trials in type 1 and type 2 diabetes, obesity pharmacotherapy, cardiovascular and kidney outcomes, diabetes technology and closed-loop systems, islet biology and beta-cell function, diabetic complications including retinopathy, neuropathy and foot disease, and the epidemiology and prevention of diabetes. The programme is built from prize lectures, symposia, oral presentation sessions, short oral discussions, e-posters and industry symposia, alongside the EASD/ADA joint activities and EASD study group meetings.
