GP26, the RACGP's annual General Practice Conference, takes place at the Adelaide Convention Centre from 20 to 22 November 2026. Hosted by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, it is Australia's largest gathering of general practitioners, GPs in training, practice teams and primary-care leaders.
The program is built around the realities of contemporary general practice: chronic disease management, mental health, women's and men's health, paediatrics, aged care, preventive medicine, rural and remote practice, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, digital health and practice sustainability. Sessions combine clinical updates, practical workshops, plenaries and interactive small-group learning.
GP26 offers CPD activities aligned with RACGP requirements, helping GPs meet their annual learning needs while connecting with peers from across the country.
Who should attend: general practitioners and family physicians, GP registrars and medical students, practice nurses, practice managers and primary-care policymakers.
Highlights include keynote speakers on the future of general practice, hands-on clinical workshops, the RACGP awards and celebrations, and a large exhibition of primary-care products and services.
Registration and the program are available on the official GP26 website.
