The 72nd Annual St. Paul's Hospital Continuing Medical Education Conference for Primary Care takes place at the Vancouver Convention Centre West from 24 to 27 November 2026, with an optional pre-conference workshop on 23 November. It is one of Canada's longest-running and best-loved CME meetings for family physicians.
The conference offers an evidence-based review of practical information and new trends, and tackles controversial topics that matter to primary care clinicians working in both urban and rural settings. Sessions are designed with ample time for audience questions.

Accreditation
The Main Lecture Series and Optional Learning Sessions are certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the BC Chapter for up to 35 Mainpro+ Certified Activity Credits (Main Lecture Series alone: up to 25). AAFP members can claim up to 35 Prescribed credit hours through the reciprocal agreement with the CFPC.
Faculty and organisers
The organising committee is co-chaired by Dr Daniel Ngui and Dr Tinus Wasserfall. Course faculty are drawn largely from UBC and St. Paul's Hospital, including Dr Jason Andrade (Cardiology), Dr Ric Arseneau (General Internal Medicine), Dr Paxton Bach, Dr James Bergman (Dermatology), Dr Liam Brunham, Dr Kyle Burns (Psychiatry) and Dr Rudy Chow (Cardiology).

All industry funds are received as educational grants, and any surplus is reinvested in St. Paul's family practice resident education and UBC faculty development.
