    About this event

    Building the Future of Surgical Research — Together. A one-day conference (9:30 AM – 4:00 PM) bringing together UK-based surgeons, fellows, resident doctors, allied health professionals, career researchers and academics to share knowledge, explore opportunities in surgical research, learn from expert speakers, hear personal research journeys, gain practical research skills and network. Approved for 4 CPD hours by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd). Chaired by Ms Emma Reay (Consultant Hand and Wrist Surgeon, RCS Surgical Specialty Lead for Hand Surgery). Cost £60 per person; subsidised free places available for medical students (contact rebecca.jefferson2@nhs.net). Registration deadline 19 May 2026. Abstract submission via https://app.oxfordabstracts.com/stages/82082/submitter — deadline extended to 24 April 2026 (max 250 words). Top abstract shortlisted for oral presentation; remainder presented as posters.
