The Turkish Society of Nephrology holds the 43rd National Nephrology Congress together with the 36th National Nephrology Nursing Congress from 14 to 18 October 2026 at the Susesi Hotel in Antalya.
Running the physician and nursing congresses in parallel is a long-standing feature of this meeting and one of its real strengths: dialysis and transplant care are delivered by multidisciplinary teams, and holding both congresses on the same site allows shared plenaries and cross-disciplinary sessions while each community retains its own specialist track.
The first day is given over to courses, with the main scientific programme running across the following days. Physician content covers chronic kidney disease staging and progression, glomerular disease and immunosuppression, diabetic and hypertensive nephropathy, acute kidney injury and critical care nephrology, fluid and electrolyte disorders, mineral and bone disorder, haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis technique and adequacy, vascular access, kidney transplantation from work-up through immunosuppression and long-term follow-up, and interventional nephrology. The nephrology nursing congress addresses dialysis unit practice, vascular access care, infection prevention, patient education and adherence, nutrition counselling, and the psychosocial support of patients on long-term renal replacement therapy.
Abstract submission is open through the congress website for both congresses, with accepted work presented in oral and poster sessions and prize categories for the strongest research.
Registration and accommodation are booked together through the official portal, and the site publishes the invitation, the boards, general information, the scientific programme and contact details.
The congress is the principal annual meeting for the Turkish renal community, drawing nephrologists, fellows, dialysis nurses, transplant coordinators and renal dietitians from across the country.
