The 10th Emirates International Neurosurgical Conference — the national conference of the Emirates Society of Neurological Surgeons — takes place 16–18 October 2026 at the Conrad Hotel Dubai under the theme "Future Perspectives in Neurosurgery". Billed by the organisers as the largest neurosurgical conference in the GCC, this decennial edition marks ten years of the meeting's commitment to scientific progress, clinical excellence and international collaboration.
The event opens with a full workshop day on 16 October, followed by the main conference on 17–18 October. The workshop programme is hands-on and capacity-limited, typically covering microsurgical technique, endoscopic approaches, spinal instrumentation and neuronavigation, and is one of the main reasons trainees travel to the meeting.
The scientific programme is designed to serve the whole neurosurgical community rather than a single subspecialty. Sessions span neuro-oncology and skull base surgery, cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery, complex and minimally invasive spine, functional and epilepsy surgery, paediatric neurosurgery and neurotrauma. A deliberate structural feature of the programme is high-level exchange between world-renowned experts and the next generation of neurosurgeons: senior faculty lectures are paired with resident and fellow presentation slots, video sessions and case debates where trainees present alongside established operators.
Abstract submission opened through the congress portal with a deadline of 31 July 2026, and accepted abstracts are presented in oral and poster sessions during the main conference days.
The congress website carries the programme, faculty list, venue and visa guidance for international delegates, and partner information. Dubai's accessibility and the Conrad's central location make the meeting a practical annual gathering point for neurosurgeons from across the Gulf, the wider Middle East, South Asia and Europe.
