The 20th Asian Epilepsy Surgery Congress (AESC 2026) takes place on 22–23 November 2026 at the KLGCC Convention Centre (formerly Sime Darby Convention Centre), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It runs right after the Asia Oceania Epilepsy Congress (AOEC 2026). The theme is "Advancing Epilepsy Surgery in Asia: Precision, Access and Outcomes." The Malaysian Society of Neurosciences endorses the meeting.
Organising Chair Prof. Vairavan Narayanan describes AESC 2026 as a practical, interactive meeting. It covers scientific advances as well as programme development, regional partnerships and sustainable growth, aiming to close gaps in access to specialised epilepsy surgery, training and technology across Asia and Oceania. Prof. Kensuke Kawai (Jichi Medical University, Japan), Secretary General of AESC, is the Advisor and International Chair.
