Overview
The IUGA Regional Symposium, held in conjunction with the 12th National Congress of Urogynecology (TUPRA), takes place 5–7 November 2026 at the Fairmont Quasar Istanbul Hotel, Istanbul, Turkiye. Jointly hosted by the International Urogynecological Association and the Turkish Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Society, the meeting is a comprehensive scientific forum on the most recent advances in urogynecology, pelvic floor medicine and reconstructive pelvic surgery.
The congress brings together clinicians, researchers and allied health professionals from across Europe, the Middle East and beyond to exchange knowledge, share clinical experience and debate current evidence in women's pelvic health. The scientific program is built around keynote lectures, expert panels, multidisciplinary discussion, surgical education sessions and interactive case-based learning.

Call for abstracts
- Deadline: 13 September 2026
- Submission is online only via the official abstract system — e-mail or postal submissions are not accepted.
- Accepted formats: experimental studies, clinical studies, original case reports.
- Structure required: Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion; maximum 500 words excluding title and authors; English only.
- Blinded review by the Abstract Evaluation Committee; results sent by official notification.
- Oral presentations: 5 minutes presentation + 2 minutes discussion; slides landscape, max 7 lines / 6 words per line.
- Poster abstracts are published as e-posters.

Fees include all scientific sessions, coffee breaks and lunch. Accommodation at the Fairmont Quasar (single from EUR 220/night, double from EUR 250/night, B&B) and airport transfers can be booked through the congress secretariat.
