The 2nd JOSCRS International Meeting — the Jordanian Ophthalmological Society's cataract and refractive surgery congress — is held 18–20 November 2026 at The St. Regis Hotel in Amman, Jordan.
Now in its second edition, the meeting brings together ophthalmologists, cataract and refractive surgeons, researchers, educators and industry partners from Jordan and internationally. The scientific programme is organised around four core areas: cataract and anterior segment surgery; cornea and refractive surgery; glaucoma management; and artificial intelligence in ophthalmic practice.
The format mixes scientific sessions with hands-on wet labs, specialised courses and expert-led discussion panels, so the meeting works both as an update on evolving surgical evidence and as practical skills training. The AI track reflects how quickly automated biometry, IOL power calculation, imaging interpretation and refractive screening tools are entering routine anterior-segment practice, and is one of the reasons the meeting is drawing regional interest beyond Jordan.
