Global Heart — From Riyadh to the World
The 37th Annual Conference of the Saudi Heart Association (SHA37) will take place on 25–27 March 2027 at Crowne Plaza RDC, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. These are the organiser’s announced replacement dates for the same edition originally scheduled for 15–17 October 2026; this is not a separate SHA38 meeting. The Saudi Heart Association brings regional and international cardiovascular professionals together around the theme “Global Heart — From Riyadh to the World.”
The updated March programme-at-a-glance spans cardiac surgery, interventional cardiology, heart failure, electrophysiology, pediatric cardiology, adult congenital heart disease, echocardiography, preventive cardiology, cardiac imaging and atherosclerosis. It also identifies sessions for cardiac nurses, pharmacists, perfusionists and technologists, alongside cardiac anesthesia and critical care. Dedicated women’s cardiology and fellows-in-training sessions underline the programme’s multidisciplinary reach. Joint sessions labelled ESC Guidelines, ESC in Arabia and ACC–SHA appear in the current overview.
The meeting is intended for cardiovascular clinicians and the wider teams supporting diagnosis, treatment and continuing care. Its overview combines scientific sessions with abstract presentations, discussion, exhibition visits and networking. It outlines parallel halls over three days, but does not yet establish a revised talk-by-talk faculty timetable.
Programme status: the organiser says a new detailed scientific agenda will be announced. Earlier October track PDFs, workshop listings and faculty must not be treated as reconfirmed for March. The current scientific committee identifies Dr Ismail Raslan as chairman and Dr Khaled Tuwairqi as co-chairman; Prof Waleed AlHabeeb provides the president’s welcome. These leadership credits do not confirm individual lecture assignments.
Accreditation: the official overview explicitly dated 25–27 March 2027 displays 24 CME hours accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). This records the organiser’s published approval; attendance and certificate conditions should be checked with the organiser.
Current registration fees: the live registration form offers physicians SAR 750, nurses/technicians SAR 300 and students SAR 200. The student fee is the qualified starting rate, not a physician pass. The homepage also displays undated early-bird and on-site tiers; no revised cutoff or applicable VAT treatment is confirmed. Refund wording referring to 2024 should be clarified before payment.
The original abstract round has closed, and no verified reopening deadline is published for the replacement dates. Revised workshops and the final sponsor roster remain unannounced. Registration and payment are handled directly by the organiser on its official form.
