King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSHRC) hosts International Urgent Care Conference 2026 on 6–7 November 2026 at King Salman Auditorium and Education and Training Center, KFSHRC, Riyadh.
Following a detailed needs assessment, our Scientific Committee has identified key areas for development in Urgent Care to enhance the quality of care provided to patients presenting with acute and time-sensitive conditions: Acute Care Management: Enhance healthcare providers’ knowledge of the latest evidence-based practices in the assessment and management of common urgent care presentations, including acute infections, minor trauma, respiratory complaints, and medical emergencies. Advanced Diagnostic and Clinical Decision-Making Skills: Improve diagnostic accuracy and clinical judgment through the use of modern point-of-care testing, imaging interpretation, and structured clinical assessment tools to ensure timely and appropriate management. Holistic, Patient-Centered Approach: Promote a comprehensive model of care that addresses not only the physical condition but also psychosocial factors, comorbidities, and patient safety considerations influencing outcomes in urgent care settings. Specialized Training and Education: Provide targeted training programs in urgent care medicine, including emergency pharmacology, procedural skills, triage systems, stabilization techniques, and safe referral and discharge planning, with the goal of strengthening healthcare professionals’ competencies and improving patient outcomes.
