LEARNING OBJECTIVES (on completion participants will be able to):
- Acquire all standard TTE views with diagnostic-quality images in ≥90% of supervised scans.
- Quantify LV and RV size and systolic function using ASE-recommended methods with ≥85% accuracy.
- Assess valve stenosis and regurgitation severity using 2D and Doppler criteria with ≥85% accuracy on case-based exams.
- Detect pericardial and pleural effusions and identify tamponade signs in ≥90% of diagnostic cases.
- Perform a focused emergency echo protocol (FATE/RUSH) within 5 minutes and make the correct triage decision with ≥85% accuracy.
