The 18th International Primary Care Diabetes Europe (PCDE) Conference takes place 10–12 September 2026 at the Istanbul Dedeman Hotel, Türkiye. Theme: "Innovating at the Crossroads: Diabetes, Obesity and Chronic Disease in a Digital Era". Chaired by Pınar Topsever (PCDE Chair, Türkiye) with Scientific Committee Chair Waqas Tahir (UK) and Honorary Secretary Samuel Seidu (UK). Highlights across two plenary days include: T1D prevention (Chantal Mathieu), CVRM resilience (Kamlesh Khunti), CVOT summary (Oliver Schnell); PCDE-EASO joint session on the 2026 Obesity Management Algorithm and waist-to-height ratio; the Paul Cromme Lifetime Achievement Lecture by Simon Griffin; a keynote by Prof. Melanie Davies (DBE) on dual and triple incretin agonists; PCDE-EUDF strategic session including the EU Cardiovascular Health Plan; the Rising Star Award; Technology in Diabetes Care (CGM beyond insulin, closed-loop systems) with Julia Mader; and PCDE Global collaborations with Diabetes India, CVOT Summits, PCDOS UK, PCD Greece, ACD (USA), redGDPS, TOAD and TAHUD.
